After several years of attempts and more failures than not at marketing various types of internet marketing (both direct and MLM) and working warm and cold markets, I've managed to bump and grind my way through the maze of different types of internet marketing formats.
I like many people have burned out and tapped out my warm markets and as a result I have had to resort to the more inconspicuous forms of marketing. That's where the internet comes in and how many of us have gotten involved with Lead Generation Marketing.
Lead generation companies promote their leads as targeted, fresh and exclusive. With all the lead generation companies out there and the millions of leads that they all sell, it is mathematically impossible that these leads are targeted, fresh and exclusive. Sure, there are a lot of people interested in a home based business, but not the millions and millions that this would call for.
In fact, the truth of the matter is that there are only a handful of companies that actually do lead generation. The vast majority of so called lead generation companies buy their leads from this handful of lead generation companies. Just because they say their leads are targeted, fresh and exclusive does not make it so.
I will go over several types of leads and explain what they are supposed to be, what they really are, how the leads are generated and how the fraud is perpetrated. My hope is that this eBook will give you a better understanding of the lead generation industry, what to look out for and how to avoid being taken to the bank and therefore help you use your marketing dollar in a more effective way.
